Full Autodesk Alias

This project explores precision Class-A surfacing for a BMW-inspired exterior form. Built entirely in Autodesk Alias, the focus was on clean surface transitions, tight curvature control, and brand-consistent proportion. Key elements like the hood, shoulder line, and rear fenders were developed to reflect BMW’s strong surface language while maintaining high-quality reflections and surface continuity throughout.
focused on achieving precise curvature flow and seamless transitions between panels

While referencing the G-Wagon’s iconic boxy silhouette, this project reinterprets the form through BMW’s design language. The result balances upright proportions with refined surfaces, clean transitions, and controlled tension to reflect a more dynamic and precise aesthetic.

Wireframe, zebra, and shader tools were used to validate surface continuity and quality. Clean topology, smooth highlight flow, and tight transitions ensured Class-A surfacing standards were met throughout the model.

Surface patches were laid out to follow the natural curvature and form direction of the vehicle. This approach ensured clean highlight flow and predictable surface behavior throughout the model.
